Whenever I have a nutrition client who is completely stuck with procrastination + perfectionism, I help them win their day with this powerful acronym: W.I.N. = What's Important Now?

Here are two ideas to consider this week.

1. W.I.N. = What’s Important Now?

Whenever I have a nutrition client that is trying to chase too many bright shiny objects at once and/or is completely stuck with procrastination + perfectionism (a deadly combo), I help them focus their attention and efforts with a short but powerful acronym:

W.I.N. = What’s Important Now?

Today, with the limited time in front of you, I want you to pick no more than 1-3 things that, if completed, will set you up with wins that contribute to your overall goals. What would those W.I.N.s look like?

For me, my W.I.N. list today includes:

  1. Get in a workout at the gym.
  2. Eat a ½ plate of vegetables with lunch & dinner, and have lean protein at all 3 meals.
  3. Go for a nice long walk with my husband and dog this evening.

What's on your W.I.N. list?

Think about a client who is struggling to hit their goals. What would their W.I.N. list look like?
