The Caveman Grunt Test

Are you losing clients because of a failed grunt test? Ask 3-5 people to play this game with you. Each fail = 1 lost client. In all honesty, my original website failed miserably.

Here are two ideas to consider this week.

1. The Caveman Grunt Test

If you were to show your website to a prehistoric caveman who knows nothing about you or your business, within 5 seconds could he could successfully grunt back the answers to these 3 simple questions:

1. What do you offer?

2. How will it make my life better?

3. How can I buy it?

✅ Pass or ❌ Fail: 

Ask 3-5 people to play the Grunt Test with your website. That will tell you a lot about what a potential new client experiences when trying to work with you. In all honesty, my original website failed miserably, but version 2.0 got a whole lot better because of this powerful exercise.

2. A confused person never buys.

When we’re confused, we don’t purchase. Simple as that.
