2-Tips
By Jennifer Broxterman, RD
Kind Nerd Note: Goals are nice. Systems and standards are better.
Tip #1:
Your Clients Set Goals. You Build the Framework.
January is always wild for nutrition coaches. My inbox is full of “New Year, New Me” energy.
(Which hey, no judgment if it gets them in the door.)
Setting a New Year’s goal? Totally fine.
“I want to eat better.” “I want to get stronger.” We don’t roll our eyes at that.
But if you’re the coach, your job is to translate that goal into something real. Something sustainable. Something with teeth.
Here’s a 3-part framework you can use with clients this week:
- SYSTEMS over goals.
Wanting a thing isn’t the same as building the scaffolding to support it.
Help your clients install daily and weekly systems that make the healthy choice automatic (e.g. batch-cooking 2 proteins + 1 grain on Sundays). - IDENTITY over goals.
Goals are something they do. Identity is who they are.
Help them shift from “I want to eat more veggies” to “I’m the kind of person who eats a vegetable with every meal.” - STANDARDS over goals.
Goals are fragile. Standards are what we fall back on. Try this with your clients. Get them to finish these two sentences:
“To feel the way I want to feel in 2026, I no longer tolerate _________.”
“To hit this health outcome, I always __________.”
That’s the start of a new baseline.
Those statements rewire how they think, not just what they do.
And here’s what we can remind them as we kick off the start of a new year.
Change what you tolerate.
Change what you do daily.
Change who you are.
The goals will take care of themselves.
Tip #2:
A sneaky LIFTOFF trick from a coach in Bulgaria!
You can thank a coach named Sofiya for this one.
She found me on YouTube, then emailed me one of the most thoughtful messages I’ve ever gotten about wanting to join PRO$PER as a brand new coach in Bulgaria. ๐ง๐ฌ
I shared a little secret with her — and now I’m sharing it with you:
When you sign up for the free LIFTOFF course, it unlocks a private page where you can grab both the Accelerator Course and High-Ticket Nutrition Sales for just $197 total.
Normally they’re $297 each.
You don’t have to be good at math to know that getting almost $600 in training for under $200 is ridiculous.
So if you’re coaching in 2026 and want to actually know how to land more nutrition clients + create high-ticket offers that feel aligned to sell...
๐ Sign up for LIFTOFF here
๐ Or go straight to the secret page
Stay kind + nerdy,
