Kind Nerd Note: If you’ve been taking care of everyone else lately, this is your reminder that your health matters too.
Tip #1:
Invest in Your Health
This advice is just as true for my nutrition clients as it is for the successful coaches I mentor.
Don’t allow being so busy at work to become an excuse for a poor diet and lack of exercise.
Although working hard might allow you to earn more, all the money in the world won’t be worth a cent if you don’t have your health to enjoy it.
Define your ‘busy enough day’—one that doesn’t push you past 80% capacity—so there’s always room in the tank for daily movement and shared, nourishing meals with the people you love.
Nothing feels worse than being a health coach who’s exhausted, overworked, and struggling with their own self-care. If that’s you, consider this your permission slip. Your needs matter too, and taking care of your own health is an important priority.
Tip #2:
Body Release
“Don’t let your mind bully your body into believing it must carry the burden of its worries.”
– Astrid Alauda
