2-Tips

Kind Nerd Note: Perfectionism is not a winning strategy. But always doing something that moves you towards your goals is.
Tip #1:
Always something, beats all-or-nothing.
I turned to a nutrition client the other day, and said,
“Stop treating your health like something you start once life calms down.”
“I’ll start eating better when…”
→ work slows down
→ the kids are older
→ I feel less anxious
→ I’m less tired
→ I lose the weight
→ life is less busy
Your life is happening right now.
And the hard truth?
The “perfect time” doesn’t show up.
So instead of waiting for ideal conditions…
build habits that work in real life.
Aim for “good enough” nutrition choices.
Aim for “healthy-ish” eating habits.
Remember, “Always something beats all-or-nothing.”
If you can make a "good enough" nutrition choice on a chaotic Wednesday,
you can do it for life.
Not perfect.
Just consistent.
Because this is the moment you have. 💚
Then I wrapped up our nutrition coaching session with this question,
“So tell me, what’s the healthiest dinner you can make for yourself tonight, given what’s in your fridge?”
Imperfect action taken today, beats great intentions for tomorrow.
Tip #2:
So Simple, Yet True
“If you keep good food in your fridge, you will eat good food.”
