1,000+ baby!

It only took two years, a ring light, and about 20% more “exuberance,” but I finally hit 1,000 YouTube subscribers! Here’s what boring, consistent effort looks like, and the video every nutrition coach should watch to land their first 10 clients.

2-Tips

By Jennifer Broxterman, RD

Kind Nerd Note: One day, something small will become something big. One new follower eventually becomes 10, then 100, and then 1,000! Keep going, even when it’s hard to see the progress you’re making.

Tip #1:
1,000+ YouTube Subs!

As a side hobby, I’ve been playing around with YouTube for the past couple of years.

It’s not my full-time focus, but I’ve learned a lot about writing hooks, storytelling, video editing, lighting, mics, and showing up on camera with presence.

→ Turns out, you need to be about
20% more exuberant and extra than your normal self to come off as “engaging” on screen.

After two years of slow, steady growth, I just hit my first 1,000 subscribers! It might not sound like much, but it feels like a big milestone, especially for a skill I haven’t mastered (yet).

Maybe that's even how you found your way over here to hang out with me more. :)

Here’s to doing things that scare you… and the next 1,000 subs.

Tip #2:
Want Your First 10 Nutrition Clients?

Getting your first few clients can feel like shouting into the void. It’s hard to know how to market yourself, until you know the exact steps to follow.

In this short video, I walk through how real nutrition coaches are landing their first 10 paying clients without being pushy, salesy, or weird.
